glass half empty

So I'm like skipping class today cuz i don't feel like goin since it is pointless to sit in lectures when we don't even have a final except a paper. that's a pretty good excuse, in addition to enjoying the sunshine =)

omg so im like 2 weeks away til graduation, so excited!!! yet, i hate goodbyes =(

Monday was so funny cuz it was Diana's birthday and everyone was trying to wake her up around midnite. As a heavy sleeper she is, it was impossible to wake her up. We called her up constantly, pound at her door til it breaks down, got yelled by her neighbors, but nothing worked. So my friend V called the RD from downstairs to ask if they could open the door for us. They refused, but attempted to call Diana's room fone just to make sure if everything was alrite in there. After 10 minutes, the RD called V and told her the state troopers were comin. In a panic mode, V called back the RD rite away and lied to them saying that she was out when she was in there. We didn't wanna ruin her bday by having a cop surprised her on her birthday. lol that was the best highlight of the day

Highlights of the day

So yesterday was very interesting cuz I had so much goin on. I had a paper, test, and interview all on the same day, WAH!!! good thing I managed each one wisely cuz I would be panicking! Sometimes I just wish that people would just do their damn hw, cuz it just pisses me off when they procrastinate everything. So if you're that person who's reading this, then you kno wat I'm talking about. Anyways, i also had an interview for grad skool yesterday. My goodness I was so nervous that I almost forgot wat to say! =O It was very hard because they nailed me down really good and I had to think very long to get an answer out. I think I messed up on some parts too =\ I'm praying that everything will be okay as I will get the decision in 2-3 weeks. I'm having my fingers crossed, hoping for he best.

This weekend will gorgeous, with sunshine up to 80's. I can't wait to get outta corvallis and just sit back and relax for the weekend. This week was very hectic already and I needa vacation badly!! Just 3 more weeks Annie, and your freedom awaits lol

Relay Updates

Relay for Life was awesome! there were so many students and community members that came to our skool to walk in hopes of raising money for the American Cancer Society. It was cool cuz this yr's theme was carnival. There were a lot of spectacular booths, not to mention, FREE FOOD!! =D My friends and I lined up a half hour early to grab free food from Chipotle. Waiting outside in the cold, they were about half hour late consider that they're across campus and they can't even be on time. So as hungry college students, we decided to grab two free burritos. Yes, we are cheap asians and darn proud of it LOL >_< Overall, the walk was fun. Got to spend sum bonding time w/ my friends and it was so worth it to stay up late playing Spoons and Scrabble in the dark! =) I really wish sum of my friends can be there to just hangout all nite and support a good cause.

Today's weather is wonderful. Temperature is around 81 degrees. Becca and I walked a bit around Corvallis and do some shopping. I found two cute skirts that I absolutely need to get haha. Wat can i say, itz spring rollin to summer soon =D I can't believe week 7 is over. 3 more weeks and I'll prolly be living a whole different life =\ I really don't want to say 'goodbye' to my friends cuz it sounds like I'll never see them again. I do hope to get in touch w/ them in the future...I just wish there is some way that we can stay connected and not let our friendship bonds be broken

Not your typical bbtea afterall

So I finally grabbed my first bbtea of the month, I must say, it wasn't dat good. I ordered taro and I couldn't really taste the flavor itself. I was very disappointed cuz I paid $3.75 for something that didn't taste good ='( I really wish there's better bbtea shops here =\ The weather is actually pretty nice today. Expecting to be 80's this weekend, WOOT!!!! Can't wait to soak up sum Vitamin D's LOL =D I'm so stoked for Relay for Life tomorrow. I get to help my team raise money for a good cause. Ready to have fun and get sum bonding time =) I wonder wat band is playing in the quad tomorrow?

Tuesday madness

I should be studying rite now cuz i have a midterm in 3 hours. But who needs to study for human sexuality anyways rite? lol I'm currently listening to David Choi's new stuffs, itz ol' so good!!! I really wish to see him in concert one day! =) So today is Tuesday and it is rainy, windy, and sunny, the typical oregon weather. I'm so stoked to be done w/ this interview paper, which is due in a half hour as we speak. I have been procrastinated on this paper all this term. I totally BS my way, which was hard, but managed to make it sound good. I don't like interview papers cuz it just takes too much time to sit and listen to the person, afterwards, go write the damn paper. I did so many interviews already and i'm like sick of it! Good thing this is my last one cuz i hate BS-ing papers.

I can't wait for Memorial Day weekend cuz i get to finally hang in portland with my possies. I am so gonna kill myself with sum good pho first, then hit to sum sushiland, and afterwards bbtea mwahahaha =D Seriously, i am like deprived from good foods. Corvallis doesn't have anything good except Youngs Kitchen LOL. You have no idea how much sushi crave I am having lately. Thank goodness Diana got me pho from portland few weeks ago, otherwise, I won't be able to survive ahaha =P While in portland, I'm also going to attend one my friend's baby shower. Which reminds me, I still needa look for sumthing for her. I have never been to one before, so hopefully this will be a fun. I also can't wait to see my friend who graduated from OSU last year. I haven't seen her in ages!!! lol Can't wait for this fun time before my last goodbye for the skool year.

If only...

Today is officially my friday!! =) nothing really exciting today except karaoke with the HMONG club gang. I didn't actually sing cuz my friend Melissa invited me to watch everyone embarrass themselves muahahaha. I actually thought it was very entertaining. One of my old co-worker was there, which was cool. Sadly to say, this term is going by wayyyy too fast. I wish that time would just take it slow, so I can cherish every moment of what I have. As I walk around campus today, I stared at the wonderful scenery of buildings that makes OSU so unique. Oh how the grass is always green and the squirrels encounter that you make every time that you walk in the quad. I hardly see squirrels where I live. Seeing a gray furry one everyday makes me want to get it as a pet lol. Yes, I am weird, but they are so awesome!! Maybe this is a sign that I need to get a dog soon HAHA. I will miss OSU so dearly as the months pass by in a glimpse of an eye. I will miss the good times my friends and I always have at the MU, where we play $2 bowling and sleep in between classes. MU is the hearth of everything around campus just relax and chill with friends. Even though, the coffee shops aren't that great, I enjoy good company with just anything that's being offered. I love how the lounge is always relaxing, especially when someone plays the piano. It actually soothes my day just by listening to the music.

And who would forget Dixon, the place where everyone can break a sweat. I'll miss the fun times playing badminton, the sport that releases my inner fobbiness =D I really don't want to leave OSU, but I'm sure that everyone has a future of their own. If only I can take all my friends with me to where I go, it'll make my life more happy. But I guess that life goes on whatever we pursue in life.

rain and more rain

YAY first post of the month!! I haven't been blogging much lately, except for my class from last term. I'm sick of writing blogs on Myspace. No one ever comments me!! LOL and i'm pretty sure not a lot of us do that nowadays. But anywho, i'm gonna give this another try. So anyways, today was gloomy as usual. Wind, rain, u name em'. I am so not use to the Oregon weather. It is May already and it still feels like winter =( I really wish to see my sunshine again and embrace summer already. I've been really down lately and I don't know why. It seems that school and life in general just trying to make things so complicated at times. I only have a month left and I don't even know where to go afterward. There are so many uncertainties in life, and I hope that there's a path for me to go after I graduate. I am applying to a lot of grad schools right now, hoping to get in so I can get my future started. I am very worried because with the economy we're in now, I feel that it is very competitive for us students to get into schools.

I met up with Maiko yesterday and we talked about possibilities of getting either an MPH degree or pursue as a nurse. She's very driven in her academics, but I feel so bad that she has to support herself since her parents aren't here in America. I really admire her courage to continue her education, even though, it is very expensive. I hope someday, I can work with her in the health professions. I will miss you Maiko!!! Anyways, it really sucked that my friends can't hang out as much as we used to. I am just sad that I'll probably won't be seeing them again. Right now, we're definitely planning on something fun for the summer before we all take off to the real world. Hopefully, this plan will go well, otherwise, it would suck to leave out others =\.
